Well, we’re experimenting with the format of The Pull List again this week. Why back to a written article? Well, first off, I had to reformat my computer and haven’t reinstalled my video editing software. Secondly, the only comment I got regarding the format last week said WRITTEN! so, we’re written. *shrug* Leave a comment if you disagree or agree, and don’t forget that just because it isn’t on the list doesn’t mean it isn’t good.

X-Force/Cable: Messiah War
“Messiah War” Parts 1 – 7
Writer: Dwayne Swierczynski (Cable); Craig Kyle & Christopher Yost (X-Force)
Artists: Ariel Olivetti (Cable); Clayton Crain (X-Force)
I know, I know. I rant and rave too much about the X-Men’s current direction. Yes, there have been some missteps. Yes, there have been some misled, horrible arcs (”Sisterhood”, I’m glaring at you). But “Messiah CompleX” set a new direction for the brave new world of Marvel’s merry mutants, after their numbers were reduced to around 187 post “M Day”. “Messiah CompleX” was announcd as the first part of a trilogy of stories, and the second part is here in a crossover between the surprisingly well written and undeniably popular Cable and X-Force, titled “Messiah War”.

I reformatted the computer recently, and don’t have everything back in place yet. So, no video pull list right now! We’re doing it up old school today, kids. Don’t forget, Captain America #600 comes out Monday instead of Wednesday, and just because its not on the list doesn’t mean it isn’t good.

So this week, I decided to try something new! Your Pull List is now in a convenient, bite size format, in the form of the video below. Its still pretty experimental, but the goal is to start including a lot more video content, since its much easier to digest than long winded articles…though, don’t get me wrong, there will still be plenty of written articles and reviews; we simply don’t have the time or resources to do videos of everything at this stage.
Hope you enjoyed it! Leave a comment and let us know what you think for future episodes.

Hope you guys are enjoying the new layout so far!! Its a pretty strong week for comics, with Power Girl debuting and the New Mutants returning, while we find out what’s happening to The Human Flame now that the entire DC Universe wants him dead. Remember, just because it isn’t on this list doesn’t mean it isn’t good!
