We Ain't Afraid Of No Ghosts, But Publishers Scare The **** Out Of Us

In Gaming News on May 6, 2009 at 7:13 am

A few months ago, I got an XBox 360 cheap off of  You can imagine my excitement.  I mean…GAMES!  I picked up a couple games, most notably The Orange Box, but the first thing I thought was “Holy shit, now I can play Ghostbusters and Batman: Arkham Asylum when they come out!”

Earlier this month, “Batman: Arkham Asylum” was pushed back until the end of the summer publishing quarter, meaning around September.  At the earliest.

Today, via multiple sources, we’re finding out that Sony is playing the exclusivity card, and will be publishing “Ghostbusters: The Video Game” for PS3 and PS2, with the 360 version coming “later this year”.

The report, originally found at MCV and reported through Kotaku and Proton Charging, doesn’t seem to affect North American publishing, but it doesn’t say it won’t affect it either, so who knows?

It just goes to show, you can’t get your hopes up until the games in your hand…

Mother Nature Sucks

In Blogs on May 6, 2009 at 5:57 am

I’d love to live somewhere with normal weather. Unfortunately, I live in the south. Georgia, to be specific.

Just a few minutes ago, the power blinked off for a second, and then back on. Then there was a really, really loud thunder clap. Oh, boy.

Now, I’m not scared of thunder, but this really is annoying as hell. Its a sad fact of living in the south that during this time of year, there will always be storms. Not for hours at a time, not even for days, but it will storm for weeks at a time. Torrential downpours, severe thunder and lightning, and constant tornado watches and/or warnings.

And its going to be like this for at least another 2 months.

Mother nature sucks.
