Not Dead!

Spoilery Bits is not dead. Well, ok, yes it is. Maybe its just a really long nap?

The fact is, I’m a busy son of a bitch. I have things to do, people to see, and monies to earn. Yes, I have a real job, I don’t get paid to spam the internet with my beliefs on when the Martian Manhunter will return or how awkward it is that Batman has painted everything around him a lovely shade of gold.

So Spoilery Bits will get updated as often as it can. But do you like comics? Movies? TV? Then why not write for it. Shoot me an e-mail and some proof that you can write better than a mentally unstable autistic monkey, and we’ll get you on the site somewhere.

Nick Fury Returns, Overcompensates

Well, Nick Fury returned at the end of Secret Invasion #3, and he had a gun that makes Rob Liefeld fucking weep. Seriously, that thing has two triggers.

New Look, New Name, Same Old Game

I’ve got to admit, I’ve been a bit inspired.

My good friend over at The Brave And The Blog! has been having so much fun with all his posting (and, lets face it, infinitely cooler name) that I keep wanting to get back into this, but things keep interfering. But, I’m slowly working towards getting back into it. I’m going to attempt to stop fooling myself with constant, scheduled articles and just attempt to do this blogging thing for fun again. And since it is Spoilery Bits, I’m going to be blogging on media. Reviews, previews, and whatnot. Hey, my reviews of Back In Black and Booster Gold #1 got some real good feedback. And I did recently get done with the Daredevil: Man Without Fear storyline.

So, if you want a full return, leave some love. Then go read Origins of The Paladin and Wiik Sauce.

Oh, the new design. Yeah, the old one was too cluttered. I thought I had found the perfect design, but then realized it was the exact same on BatB! was using, and opted not to steal that. I like the duality of this ones header though…

Google Pwnz J00

Just got done playing with one of Google/GMail’s newer features, Docs & Spreadsheets. its a WYSIWYG, Word-style text editor that stores text documents online, and holy shit this is nice. Its completely free right now (all you need is a Google account, which are now open to the public and no longer invite only) and functions just as good as, if not better than, Microsoft Word. Its a real useful tool, especially for me, seeing as how going to college and being at home usually means my writing takes place on several different computers…all you need is internet access and you can open up, edit, and save your documents in HTML, RTF, .DOC, and even PDF format.

Its an excellent feature, and I highly recommend it. To try it out, shoot on over to http://docs.google.com and don’t forget to get a kick-ass e-mail account over at GMail.

Alright, so I’m an advertising whore, we’ve more than established this.  But my other site, THE PALADIN ONLINE now features official merchandise courtesy of Cafe Press.  Yeah, yeah, I know; the shit’s expensive and you don’t really care for it, well so what?  The purpose of the merch is to give you something cool, unique, and that you want to wear.  The fact that it also helps with the upkeep, publishing, promtion, and just general creation of all sites involved with Homeworld Productions…well, that’s just icing on the cake (for you, at least).
